In this blog, we will discuss how to update the Visual Studio 2017 version 15.3.5 using Visual Studio 2017, setting up the environment and prerequisite etc. Microsoft announced the new release of Visual Studio 2017 version 15.3.5 on September 19, 2017, and its support Apple’s XCode 9, iOS 11, tvOS 11, watchOS 4 and issues fixed.

Prerequisite

  • ·         Visual Studio 2017 Community Edition 

Setting up the Environment

If you want to know how to update the Visual Studio version 15.3.5 to your PC. You can see the step by step guidelines as follows

Open Visual Studio 2017. Go to Tools menu, click Extensions and Updates submenu item.


The Extensions and Updates window will open and select the Product Updates in Updates and then click the Update button.


The update visual studio installer window will open and click update button


The Visual Studio window will open


You can see the visual studio processes are already running on my PC and while click continues button for continuing the installation will automatically close these visual studio processes.


The Visual Studio Products window will open and started to downloading as well as installing at the same time as shown below screenshot.


After successfully updated Visual Studio Community 2017 version 15.3.5. Then Click Launch button.
